Hey girls!
I have been wanting to post some of spring essentials including makeup, nail polish, and hair. I love watching these videos on Youtube or reading others' posts.
To start off with makeup. Revlon Super Lustrous lip glosses are what I think the most beautiful spring lip glosses. The colours and consistency of the gloss itself is beautiful. My top three for Spring/Summer are Coral Reef, Lilac Pastelle, and Pink Pop.
The best thing about these glosses is what you see in the tube is what actually comes out unlike many other lip glosses.
Bottom to top: Coral Reef, Lilac Pastelle, Pink Pop
For lipsticks, I chose two pink tones. The first one is a Revlon Lip Butter in Cupcake, which is a glossy baby pink. I also chose Topshop's Pillow Talk (I received this from Chloe www.thebeautycorner.co.uk), which is a pretty pink with a tiny hint of coral. I love it for this time of year as it brightens up your whole face look instantly.
In the springtime, I think it looks so fresh to do a very minimal face of makeup and have a pop if colour as your eye liner. This Milani Infinite Liquid Eyeliner in Infinite does the job! It gives a very smooth application and has amazing pigment, however, it is VERY long wearing, meaning it takes some time to remove this baby!
I think it is nice to have a highlighting concealer pen in your bag to create the fresh spring glow look on-the-go. The L'oreal Magic Lumi Concealer Pen is lovely. It conceals nicely while brightening that area as well. It works well under the eyes.
The last makeup product I believe is an essential is a light pink blush. I love nothing more than to give my face a light pink flush for the spring time. It looks very pretty and girly. ELF's Tickled Pink blush is great for fair skin tones like me.
I narrowed it down to three nail polishes for this post:
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear polish in Pacific Blue - Probably my favourite blue nail shade ever! It looks so gorgeous on the nails.
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear polish in Mint Sorbet - I have been searching for this exact shade of mint green and have found it. On the nails, it is so bright and fresh and goes with many different outfits.
- Lastly, Barry M's Nail Paint in Peach Melba (I also got this from Chloe in our first swap!) is such a unique polish in my collection. I love wearing light pastel peach tones on my nails during the spring/summer.
This next product is one product I will always repurchase. The Victoria's Secret VS Pro Smooth FX Lip Scrub & Balm is such an amazing product to take care of your lips. The scrub works so well to exfoliate my lips making them soft. I apply the balm right after. It's so convenient since the balm just screws right on to the scrub. Very compact and just an amazing product!
The Palmer's Cocoa Butter is my favourite lotion to start wearing during the spring all throughout summer. My legs have scars on them from mosquito bites or cuts from soccer so this helps to smooth out the marks on my legs as well as moisturize thoroughly.
I have really got my first BB Cream from Boscia. I am still testing it out but I think it is an essential to have a BB Cream. They have been coming to North America slowly and I've heard nothing but positive about them.
Lastly, for hair, I use the Sally Hershberger Wave Spray frequently during these months. I spray it all over my hair when it is wet or dry to create some natural no-heat waves. I love the smell!
That is everything! Whew, this post felt like it took forever to type! Anyway, let me know if you have tried any of these products in the comments! Hope everyone's having a nice day :)
I'd love if you'd enter my magazine giveaway!

Thanks so much for following me!! Those lip glosses just scream spring! And they are so pigmented, that's great. I haven't tried the Milani Liquid Eyeliner yet but I just purchased the Milani Liquif'eye Eyeliner Pencil in black and it does not budge, it's the best pencil eyeliner I've ever used. Also, I used to use Cocoa Butter when I was younger but I stopped for some reason. I need to repurchase and start using it again for my marks! Love your blog :)
